Model & scale
An architecture vast and small Ishigami, Junya - models

Ishigmi is a Japanese artist. His work style is very unique. Ishigami style of work is he like to make a tiny models, make it look minimal, less but more, and relate to natural.

Example of Ishigami's work
3 model iterations are to fit in cubes of 5 x 5 x 5 cm
In these 3 models use differrent techques. The first one (left side) use toothpick put it together and make it be a cylider. The second one (middle one) use white hard paper for making a base and roof of the model but at the roof make some pattern so it will look like it have something not just a paper. The last one use hard plastic the be a glass. Inside have a chair for chill use hot glue to connect everything together. For the flower is dcorate and pretend that it a natural so it like with Ishigami work.
Final Models are to fit in cubes of 15 x 15 x 15 cm

The spatial techniques and spatial language of the model

The original idea of this model is base on Ishigami, Junya work style and got an inspiration from UTS new building (building 2). Ishigami's work style is very unique, all the work that he has created is very tiny and small, most of the work relate to natural, the color that he use is very simple, and the overall of this work is less but more. Ishigami work even it have less color, tiny but once you see it. It gives you a good vibe and make you feel relaxing, can keep looking at his work without feel bored. It is an object that it is very interesting that why tiny thing and don't like Ishigami use that much or hard techniques to create those things but it can make you feel relaxing and can look at it all the time without having boring feeling. In this final model did not use that much material i aim is keep it simple, less but more and try to make it look clear and conformable as much as i can. The material in this model : wood board, polystyrene balls, wood sticks, hard plastic, cotton pad, hot glue, cutting board, knife, ruler, pen and pencil. Use wood board as a based of the model, the base size is 17cm x 17 cm but the actual size that just use it is 15cm x 15cm. The aim of doing this because when we create a gap it will like this location or this space have more space and it will make the audience, feel relax and secure about the location, use the wood stick and polystyrene balls to make a tree, create a good environment also make the overall of the building look better. I create the building have 2 layers by the hard plastic. This part also show the part of 'less but more' use hard plastic instead glass so this building is a see through building. Make it look more expensive and more relaxing so people can see the view and nice environment around that area. Inside this first layer i put some chairs for make it look like a place that it for people, they can sit and chill not just a building that just have a space and good view nothing else. In additional, I put the building in the middle so people will focus with the building and give attention about this model. The scale is real size as a building.
